Rhinoplasty, Anyone?
Sunday, October 10th, 2010The popularity of cosmetic surgery is at its peak in the United States, not only for Caucasians, but also for some ethnic groups. There are various individuals from different ethnic communities, such as African, Hispano and Asian-Americans, who choose to have their broader and wider nose done for a thinner, narrowed and lifted one.
For me, rhinoplasty, or surgery of the nose, can be really satisfying as it will help boost self-confidence on the part of the patient. This medical procedure does not aim to totally change the looks of ethnic Americans and make them Caucasians; the main reason why they undergo rhinoplasty is to enhance the balance of the nose with the rest of the face while preserving their ethnic look.
There is nothing wrong with cosmetic surgery, especially if you have the money and courage to do it. However, you should think about it a hundred times and be ready for the consequences that it entails.
