The Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) is one of the health arms of the United States. It deals with health insurance services Medicaid and Medicare. Part of their responsibility is to facilitate the efficient delivery of quality health care to people and spearhead the modernization of the country’s health care system.
The CMS works to ensure up-to-date health care coverage to beneficiaries. The beneficiaries are people coming from low-income households, including those indigents with no registered income at all. They get health insurance services by completing several requirements as contained in the guidelines set by the agency.
